7 Ways I Reduce Stress (And You Can Too!)

Life starts "Life-ing" a little too often these days, am I right? Between juggling work, family, and trying to have some “me-time,” it’s easy for stress to sneak in like that pesky fly you just can't catch. But don't worry, I’ve got your back! I’ve come up with my favorite stress-busting tricks to keep calm, cool, and collected when life gets a little crazy. Let’s dive in!


1. Dance It Out!



Whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed, I throw on my favorite playlist (you know, the one where every song is a banger?) and just dance like nobody’s watching! I swear it’s like a mini vacation in my living room. The best part? You don't have to be Beyoncé to feel those stress-melting vibes. Just move, groove, and let the music take over.


2. Declutter My Space, Declutter My Mind


There’s something about a tidy space that instantly clears the mental fog. When my mind feels cluttered, so does my house. A quick sweep through to organize my desk or fold that pile of laundry sitting in the corner (guilty!) always makes me feel more in control. Bonus: my house looks cute too!


3. Take a Walk on the Wild Side


Okay, maybe not wild, but a simple walk outdoors can do wonders. Fresh air, a change of scenery, and some good ol' vitamin D are like magic for a stressed-out brain. Sometimes I stroll around the neighborhood, other times I find a nature trail, but either way, it’s like pressing the reset button on my day.


4. Color Me Zen


Adult coloring books are totally a thing now, and I’m obsessed! There’s something so calming about coloring between the lines (or not, your call). It’s my go-to when I need to unwind without overthinking. Plus, you end up with cute artwork to show off on the fridge!

5. Sip & Relax


I’ve become a bit of a tea snob (don’t judge!). When things get too much, I brew a cup of chamomile or peppermint tea, sit in my coziest corner, and just sip away. It’s like a warm hug in a mug that tells your stress to take a hike.


6. Laugh The Stress Off


Nothing beats stress like a good laugh. I have a list of my go-to funny shows or memes that crack me up every single time (I mean, who doesn’t love a good cat meme?). Laughter really is the best medicine – plus, it’s calorie-free!


7. Get Crafty


Whenever I’m feeling super stressed, I pull out some craft supplies. Whether it's painting, scrapbooking, or even just doodling, getting creative helps me focus on something fun and takes my mind off whatever’s stressing me out. Bonus points if glitter is involved!
